Frequently Asked Questions & Answers
Q: Do you accept online payments?
A: We use a local agency to handle our leases and payments, assuring you that this is a genuine rental home. This saves you from having to pay a fee for the privilege of booking online. It also means you have an immediate, local contact should a problem arise during your stay. If you want the assurance of immediate payment, the agency does accept credit card payments for a small administrative fee. If interested, they would need your credit card number, expiration date, and 3 digit security code.

Q: What is the weekly rental amount?
A: Jan 1-Mid June $1000/wk

We are 4 miles or less from Echo Lake, Seawall, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, and many, many hiking trails within the Park. We are about 20 minutes from the Park Loop Road, Cadillac Mountain, and hiking trails on the East side of the island. We are about 15 minutes away from the carriage roads and hiking trails in Northeast Harbor.

A: Although we are only 1/2 mile from the harbor, we are not high enough above the trees to see it from the house. However, you can hear the boat horns and ferry whistle in the distance and you can feel the ocean breeze while you are outside. It is a quick walk to the harbor.
